I was in Pearse Station on Thursday evening and noticed a rail enable cherry picker in the old Platform 1/2 area. Did this breakdown on the running lines overnight? Where is your bloody contingency plan for such an event, other than “fuck the public”?
CIE forgoes €1m for executive box in Lansdowne Road
Sunday, February 1st, 2009It has been reported that the gombeens in CIE have taken a corporate box for themselves in Lansdowne Road stadium in lieu of payment for air rights over the DART line.
Given that this amount is what they reckon they will get from car parking charges at stations, they could have used this revenue to avoid the introduction of car parking charges. But why pass up on an opportunity to screw the public.
