The unconstitutional terrorist goon squad were falsely imprisoning customers of Irish Rail in Maynooth this evening. Lads, if you are so brain dead that you follow orders blindly, do yourselves a favour and commit suicide before a future Government uses the precedent that you are establishing that the State is above the law, to execute you for crimes against democracy.

Terrorists at it in Maynooth
Thursday, November 27th, 200824th November 2008 - 1739 ex Pearse to Maynooth
Monday, November 24th, 2008This evening, the above train was delayed from 1758 - 1802 outside Ashtown with no announcement as to why..
Where is the zero tolerance of incorrect information?
Monday, November 24th, 2008At 0743, there was an automatic announcement on board the 0746 that the train was for Dublin Pearse. What penalty notice was issued for the fact that the train terminated at Connolly?
Promotion with tourist ventures
Sunday, November 16th, 2008Advertised on the DART is a promotion whereby presentation of “a valid single, return, 1 day, 3 day, weekly or monthly DART Commuter Rail ticket for adults, students, children and families” will gain the bearer a 20% discount on entry to:
Malahide Castle
Fry Model Railway Museum
James Joyce Museum (Sandycove)
Dublin Writers Museum (Parnell Square)
Shaw Birthplace.
What about annual tickets? Are the other commuter tickets rail only or does it extend to bus/rail also? All are equal but some are more equal than others.
Clonsilla 14th November 2008
Friday, November 14th, 2008As the 0746 ex Maynooth to Connolly passed through Clonsilla this morning, it was obvious that the ticket office was closed and there was no means to purchase a ticket prior to travel. Could the terrorist thicks please explain how passengers were supposed to comply with your terrorist policy concerning ticket purchases.
Was it a case of someone missing their quota of penalty fares for the month so lets create a scenario where we can increase the numbers for the month.
Thank you for thinking of others
Friday, November 14th, 2008There are advertisements on the ARROW stating “Thank you for thinking of others” followed by “Make the journey more comfortable for everyone….”.
It makes you wonder when IR are going to make the journey more comfortable for everyone by running longer trains, providing a service that works first time everytime and not victimising passengers who IR failed to provide the ability to buy a ticket to.
Overcrowding on DART - Connolly Station
Wednesday, November 12th, 2008Insufficient capacity on southbound DART for volumes of passengers off the Maynooth train with the result that passengers were left behind at Connolly. No doubt Barry Kenny will be telling us that this is normal on urban passenger transport systems. I look forward to the day when it is normal for weasel worded pieces of crap, into which human DNA has been injected in a scientific experiement gone wrong, to be taken out and executed for crimes against democracy.
Maynooth 11th November 2008
Tuesday, November 11th, 2008Another fine display of an inability to organise a piss up in a brewery by Fearns & Co - the railway managers who are only in Ireland for the same reason that English born footballers with an Irish granny declare for Ireland.
It was 0758 before the 0746 arrived at Maynooth by which stage the 0758 ex Maynooth was on the Up platform. How did tne 0758 overtake the 0746 en route to Maynooth. Departure of the 0746 was at 0759.
The one saving grace was a nice touch by the driver of the 0746 in that at each station en route he announced what train it was, not as the 0746 ex Maynooth, but as whatever time it was due to leave that station.
Use of camera flash guns on railways
Tuesday, November 11th, 2008I was watching the Formula 1 Grand Prix recently and could see the spectators taking photographs of cars using flash cameras. This shows the grounds on restriction of the use of flash guns on IR “property” (i.e. our property) to be a load of Orwellian 1984 style power and control crap.
Work starts on Clonsilla - Dunboyne railway
Tuesday, November 11th, 2008Work on the first proper railway reopening in Ireland has finally started according to the Irish Independent although what constitutes “work” was not defined.
However, I am happy to give credit where credit is due and recognise the importance of this event. Hopefully this line will not become a victim of the straitened financial circumstances that the country now finds itself in.
