At 2020 a passenger alighting on a train arriving from Cork was smoking in the enclosed concourse for Platforms 6 to 8 and continued to do so on the roadway adjacent to Platform 5.

I observed a person smoking behind the colonades at the front of the station at 0900.

I observed 3 people smoking behind the colonades at the entrance to Heuston Station at 1028.

There were 2 passengers smoking at door of an Arrow under the overall enclosed roof at 1955 this evening.

At 0857 this morning, I observed 2 people smoking behind the colonades at the entrance to Heuston Station, STT security staff were engaged in chatty conversation with them that clearly did not involve the stopping of the breach of anti smoking laws.

I observed a man smoking whilst standing behind the colonades at the entrance to Heuston Station in clear breach of anti smoking legislation.

I observed a restaurant employee smoking behind the colonades at the entrance to Heuston, in clear breach of enclosed workplace legislation at 0900.
